JMJ Meat Locker is a testament to our strong local ties and dedication to providing the finest quality meats to our community. Owned by three local farmers, our roots run deep, and our journey is a story of passion, tradition, and quality.
Jesse and Mike Stanford’s journey began on their family’s farm, which was recognized and celebrated as a Bicentennial Farm in 2019. Starting with dairy and later transitioning to beef over 20 years ago, they have gained invaluable insights into raising high-quality animals. Their family’s legacy and dedication to farming have been integral to shaping our commitment to excellence.
Jason Troyer, the third owner of JMJ Meat Locker, has deep farming roots as well. He grew up and continues to work on his family’s dairy farm, where they milk over 200 Holsteins. His immersion in the cattle industry since 1995 has provided him with extensive knowledge and a strong connection to the farming community.
In 2022, with processors in the area dwindling, we recognized the need to secure the future of quality beef processing in our community. This decision was not just a business move; it was a commitment to our community. We believe that our roots and experiences uniquely position us to ensure that our community continues to receive not only quality beef but also quality processing.
